Raenest at Builders Summit 2024: Bridging Borders and Building the Future of Africa

Raenest proudly sponsored the Builders Summit, where Africa's brightest tech and entrepreneurial minds gathered.

Raenest was a proud sponsor of the Builders Summit, a one-day event that brought together some of Africa's brightest minds in tech, entrepreneurship, and content creation. It was an inspiring day filled with learning, networking, and a shared vision for progress.

The Raenest booth was buzzing with activity! We had the most visitors of any booth, with entrepreneurs eager to learn how our multi-currency accounts and USD debit cards can help them expand their businesses beyond borders. Freelancers and remote workers were also interested in Geegpay, our B2C solution that simplifies receiving international payments and managing multi-currency expenses.

Beyond promoting our own products, it was fantastic to connect with other business owners and share ideas. The energy at the summit was palpable, a strong indicator of Africa's thriving entrepreneurial spirit and its wealth of resourceful people. This aligns perfectly with Raenest's mission to support progress and growth.

The panel discussions and speaker sessions were equally insightful. Here are some quotes that resonated with us, and how they connect to Raenest's mission and vision:

Building Strong Relationships and Going Far Together: The sentiment of community and collaboration was echoed by several speakers, including Olaseinde, founder of Money Africa, who stated "Community is everything." At Raenest, we share this belief. We're committed to building strong relationships with our users, giving them the personalised attention they deserve, and carrying them along on our journey.

Joe Kinvi, founder HoaQ referenced the saying, "If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far, go together." in his speech. Raenest and Geegpay are built on this very idea of "going far together." By simplifying international payments, we remove barriers and enable African businesses and freelancers to connect and collaborate with the world.

Understanding Your Users and Providing Comprehensive Solutions: The MyCover.ai CEO, Adebowale Banjo’s quote about being a "Jack of all trades and master of one" resonated with our approach to product development. We believe in serving our users like it's one person, not a number. That's why we create suites of tools that tackle every angle of a particular problem. We want to be a one-stop solution for our users' financial needs in the global marketplace.

Making Informed Decisions: Adia Sowho, CMO Mtn Nigeria, offered a thought-provoking quote about self-awareness: "Self-awareness is your protection. It takes figuring out yourself to discover your Ikigai. Sometimes it doesn't mean you're not right, it means you're not there yet." This resonated with our reason for existing. We believe that hardworking Africans shouldn't be facing unnecessary challenges related to international finance. Our goal is to empower them by providing the financial tools they need to succeed, putting them at an advantage instead.
